Definition: Subtweet—a way to say something, often unkind, over twitter where the subject of the tweet knows it’s directed at them (and potentially others do as well) but said subject’s name is never mentioned
Example: “I am so over all the drama”…when your teenage daughter has been in a fight with one of her friends for the past few days.
Translation: I am tired of you being so dramatic and I want you and everyone who knows us well enough to follow me on twitter (all 512 people) to know it!
